CNM’s Job Connection Services has a range of information freely available here to assist you in your job search journey. These resources include videos (closed captioned) on how to build a résumé, write a cover letter, prepare for an interview, conduct a job search professionally, and create a winning LinkedIn profile. There are also résumé and cover letter templates, as well as examples, and lists of common interview questions. A few free career exploration tools are available on JCS’s website as well as additional external informational resources for job search strategies. ​

Workforce Connection

The Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico (WCCNM) oversees the workforce partner network and federally-funded employment and training programs and services in the four‐county region, which encompasses Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia counties. 
The New Mexico Workforce Connection Center at 501 Mountain Road in Albuquerque (505-843-1900) provides Career Services by professional Employment Representatives who assist with career decision making; interviewing and resume writing, job search skills, employer job listings and referral, internship and apprenticeship opportunity information, and referral to training opportunities.
The Connection also has online career resources under the Career Options section on their website at

NMCDA Quarterly Update

Our quarterly board meeting was held on Tuesday, October 15. We began the planning process for our annual conference and discussed other goals for the year.

Save the Date: Friday, March 27, 2020 - NMCDA Annual Conference
  • The title and theme of the conference will be Opening Doors: Managing Career Transitions, and will feature presentations on working with populations in transition such as veterans, ex-offenders, and people with disabilities.

  • Interested in learning about the latest and greatest career assessments?
